Samantha Saturn serves as Chief Marketing Officer of SESAC Music Group, based in Nashville. In this role, Saturn oversees global marketing initiatives for all corporate entities to include the Harry Fox Agency, Rumblefish, SESAC Performing Rights, and Mint Digital Services, with a focus on building innovative marketing plans for the company. In this role, Saturn has oversight of all communications, messaging, and marketing strategy and execution on behalf of the SESAC Music Group brand and its subsidiaries.
Saturn brings to SESAC over 20 years of marketing experience and has deep roots in both technology and music businesses. Prior to SESAC, she was running a successful consulting practice, Saturn Advisory, where she developed and implemented strategic marketing programs for StudioNow, Comicbook.com, YouNow, and The Barbershop Harmony Society.
Before starting her own firm, Saturn was the Chief Marketing Officer of Comixology, which she grew to a $60MM+ annual multi-platform content business and built the customer base to over 2MM members. Prior to that, Samantha spent two years as the CMO for Artspace.com, establishing it as the leading online marketplace for middle market contemporary art, and four years as the SVP of Digital Marketing for Columbia Records.
Saturn is a mentor at Project Music, a music accelerator based out of Nashville’s Entrepreneur Center and serves on the Board of Gilda’s Club of Nashville. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
